Our Working Committees, Empowering Industry Collaboration Through Purpose-Driven and High Impact Leadership
Our Working Committees serve as strategic platforms that bring together entrepreneurs, founders and business leaders to support the advancement of Singapore’s enterprise and trade ecosystem. These committees are formed to drive focused initiatives, strengthen industry engagement, facilitate collaboration and support the execution of programmes, events, and strategic priorities under the Association’s broader mission.
Individuals appointed to the Working Committees of the Association of Trade and Commerce (ATC) are expected to meet or have fulfilled the following criteria:
- Must be a business founder, entrepreneur, business owner and the director or principal decision-maker of the registered enterprise
- Possess an active and valid ATC membership under the managing organisation or registered enterprise
- Demonstrate active involvement within their respective industry, sector or business community
- Possess the ability to contribute meaningfully towards committee discussions, initiatives, programmes or ecosystem development efforts
- Uphold the values, professional standards and objectives of the Association
Working Committees
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Committee
The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Committee serves as the primary platform within the Association of Trade and Commerce (ATC) dedicated to representing, supporting, and advancing the interests of Singapore's micro, small and medium enterprises.
Recognising that enterprises at different stages of growth face unique opportunities and challenges, the Committee provides a structured framework for engagement, advocacy, collaboration, and capability development across the business community.
The MSME Committee works closely with members, enterprises, businesses, industry stakeholders, government agencies and ecosystem partners to identify emerging business trends, address operational and regulatory challenges to facilitate market access opportunities and strengthen the competitiveness of Singapore enterprises both locally and internationally.

The Micro Enterprise Working Group comprises members who own and manage businesses with annual revenue of up to SGD 3 million.
Micro enterprises play a critical role in driving entrepreneurship, and innovation within Singapore's business ecosystem. The working group focuses on addressing the unique challenges faced by smaller enterprises while facilitating opportunities for business growth, capability development, productivity enhancement and market expansion.
The SME Working Group comprises members who own and manage enterprises with annual revenue exceeding SGD 3 million and up to SGD 100 million.
As a key pillar of Singapore's economy, SMEs contribute significantly to employment, innovation and economic development. The working group works closely with industry partners, members and stakeholders to address strategic business challenges while identifying opportunities for scaling operations, strengthening competitiveness, fostering collaboration and expanding into regional and international markets.
Women Entrepreneurs Committee (WEC)
The WEC serves as a dedicated platform to support, connect, and advance women business leaders and entrepreneurs across diverse industries. Women-led enterprises are growing within Singapore's business ecosystem and the Committee works closely to address collectively challenges faced by women entrepreneurs while creating opportunities for business growth, leadership development, and collaboration.
